The Life Insurance Corporation Of India (LIC) is an Indian state-owned insurance group and investment company which is located at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The department was founded in 1 September 1956 when the Parliament of India passed the Life Insurance of India Act. The department are engaged in various services of Life insurance, health insurance, investment management and mutual fund. It has a large number of units and sub units spread across the entire country, so the department needs for young and talented candidates every year. Every year the department invites various notification for filling various posts. Similar to every year this year also the department has been announced the notification for LIC India Recruitment 2016 for filling total 500 posts of the Insurance Advisor/ Insurance Agent. Only those candidates can apply under this recruitment process which candidates age should be between 25 years to 40 years and should have passed bachelor/ graduation degree from a recognized Indian University. Any interested and eligible candidates can apply via online mode before 31st May 2016.
